Coming to Light // Short Film by Hector Bell [03.05.2021]
I composed the music, created the sound design and mixed all the audio for this short film by Hector Bell. The film follows the story of 21 year old Aaron, who is trying to come to terms with the sexual abuse he suffered as a child, except the trauma has manifested itself as a terrifying monster. The film was finished in May 2020 and had a year of film festival screenings before being released officially online in May 2021.

For 6 Hands [12.02.2020]
‘For 6 Hands’ is a piece I composed for 3 performers using a turntable each and a shared Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus mixer. The performers follow a graphic score I created, and use small stickers or strips of tape to create short loops on the records. States of Motion [20.06.19]
‘States of Motion’ is a piece I wrote in collaboration with choreographer and dancer Rosie Reith. It consists of 3 movements, each one taking inspiration from Newton’s 3 Laws of Motion:
Movement I: An object will remain at rest or in uniform motion unless acted on by an external force.
Movement II: The acceleration produced by a particular force acting on a body is directly proportional to the magnitude of the force.
Movement III: To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction.
